Hike Details:
Choose Between "Tour of the Mountain" Hike OR "King of the Hill Challenge"
Tour of the Mountain Hike - Starts @ 8:00AM
This trail hike takes us through the diverse terrain of Rib Mountain State Park. You'll experience elevation climb and decent, standing forest, beautiful rock formations and views across Marathon County. The hike is approx 6.5 miles estimated to take 1.5-3 hrs.
King of the Hill Challenge - Starts @ 9:30AM
The Power & Endurance Challenge. Grab your pack, add some weight, and prepare to climb. Rib Mountain offers some of the fastest elevation gain and descent in the area and we're going to put you to the test! HOW IT WORKS - You, the hiker, will grab their pack and gauge how much weight you want to put in your pack. Then you will do hill repeats on the ski run of Upper Dusky. Hike up and down the course as many times as you can in 1 hour. That is half your score. The second half of your score will be based on your pack weight times % of body mass as your score.
